Uckfield guide to be lit on Remembrance Sunday
Remembrance Sunday Uckfield; Uckfield guide is to be lit on Sunday, November 11, to check a long time since the part of the World War 1.

10am Officers from the eleventh Signals Regiment, 5 Squadron, Maresfield, will walk through Maresfield Park to St Bartholomew’s Church, Maresfield to partake in an administration of Remembrance which starts at 10.30am. .
10.45am Ceremony at the Eugene Seghers remembrance in the grounds of the Highlands Inn. Eugene Seghers was a Belgian pilot who kicked the bucket when a V1 flying bomb exploded as he controlled it away from slamming on Uckfield.

11am Two minutes quiet will be begun and wrapped up by the discharging of maroons at Uckfield Civic Center.
2.30pm Remembrance march by nearby formally dressed gatherings up Uckfield High Street to Holy Cross Church.
3pm Service of Remembrance at Holy Cross Church, trailed by wreath-laying, and a procession back to Uckfield Civic Center.
