Remembrance Sunday Cheltenham; Cheltenham’s remembrance administration and march denotes the multi year Armistice commemoration and praises the penance of the equipped administrations in war – 10:55 am on Sunday 11 November

Partaking will be the Cheltenham part of the Royal British Legion; Cheltenham Royal Naval Association; Royal Observer Corps, 501 Sqn RAuxAF (Brize); ARRC, Joint Services Signals Unit; and Veterans. At night, the civic chairman will go to the Cheltenham Remembers projection of WW1 symbolism at the Municipal Offices pursued by the Festival of Remembrance, which is composed by the Royal British Legion and held at the town lobby.

 

 

Cllr Bernard Fisher stated: ”It is a benefit to have the option to lead the town in this demonstration of remembrance which won’t just recall the individuals who fell 100 years prior, yet in addition the individuals who gave their lives, in later clashes.”
