Johnson’s ability and knowledge with numbers became obvious when she was a small kid. By the age of 10 she had begun going to secondary school and by the age of 18 had graduated with the most elevated distinctions from West Virginia State College, acquiring four year certifications in Maths and French.In 1953 she was utilized by the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics (NACA, later turning out to be National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), where she shaped piece of the Space Task Group.
