Halloween Maze

Halloween Maze: Our Hallowscream nights could sadly not go ahead in 2020. We’ve been operating this event since 2009, and every year has been bigger and better than before, but in 2020 with all the restrictions we didn’t feel we could provide the intense and ‘terrifyingly’ high standard of scares we are famous for, and you all love. It takes over 100 actors, working in close contact with our victims, erm we mean guests, within our 5 haunted houses to really bring the event alive! The safety of our guests and staff is our number one priority above all else, and this is why we had to make the difficult decision and not run Hallowscream in 2020.

BUT… Hallowscream 2021 is back, bigger and badder than ever and one thing we can guarantee is that after not getting his twisted kicks in 2020 our beloved Corny will be looking forward to seeing you all even more in 2021 – you have been warned!!! For details and tickets click the Hallowscream logo website link below.

Hallowtween is our frighteningly fun event  aimed at families with children aged 10-15 who are too old for trick or treating, but too young for Hallowscream. While we were not be able to run our Hallowscream nights in 2020 we were delighted that we could adapt our family friendly Hallowtween  event to run safely last year adhering to all the Covid Secure measures in place at the time. Hallowtween 2020 was a huge success, we were blown away by the number of positive comments we received. Hallowtween 2021 will be open from Tue 26th – Sunday 31st October. Click the logo link below to go to the Hallowtween website for details and tickets.

For Autumn 2021 we have a fabulous range of activities for you all to enjoy at Fordingbridge. For the budding pumpkinologists there are 10 acres of pumpkins to pick, for the crafty, lots to create, make and take, and for the intrepid a journey into our new Halloween Maize Maze is not to be missed!

We look forward to welcoming you all to Fordingbridge’s Amaizing Halloween Spooktacular!

Parking is free but we are fundraising for Great Ormond St so you are most welcome to leave your change with us to count and give to this amazing charity!

For the Halloween Maze booking is required

As fog rolls over Maan Farms, the circus returns for another year of laughs and screams, and the corn is bleeding again. Founded during the peak of circus culture in the 1800s, this twisted carnival of the macabre comes to pull you into its circus of terrifyingly fantastic delights. From the cart of ancient wonders to a mysterious gypsy, what foul fortune might befall you within the tall corn?

A traveler guides you into darkness, fog whispering in between your fears as you find what horrors might persuade you further into the dark. Cursed and slaughtered, the pagan inhabitants of a once-proud settlement have come back beneath the crimson moon to drag down any and all who walk upon their soil. Venture with us if you will, deep within darkened wood.

Tossed into the turmoils and sensory assaults of purgatory, this year’s Pitch Black is a venture into the unknown and into your worst fears as they come out and touch you. Smell, Touch, Hearing… all of these will be pushed to their limits as you are ushered into darkness, no sight of a way out, just the hope that the claustrophobic nightmare may end. For the horror extremists, welcome home.

Opening dates and times:

While parking and entry are free for PYO Pumpkins the Halloween Maze does need to be booked. We are raising money in aid of Great Ormond St so happy to take any donations for parking and pass them onto our favourite charity of the year!

Halloween Maze

An October night, in the dark, the rustle of the old Maize in the breeze, you are lost, you can feel somebody watching but can’t see them, yet!

Welcome to Spooky Fun in the Maize Maze

We will have 2 types of Halloween Maze experiences. Day time is child friendly and not too spooky- Evenings in the Maze are dark, a little unnerving but spooky and fun.

Plenty of free parking, lots of space to run around, stroll and play. We have portaloo toilets, disabled toilets, and baby change facilities onsite.

There will also be food, drinks and snacks onsite. Please note we do not allow dogs on site except registered guide dogs.

What to bring

All-weather clothes, wellies, umbrellas, sunscreen, sunhat.

Spare change to donate to Great Ormond street Children’s Hospital.

PYO Pumpkins

PYO Pumpkins is our favourite activity alongside getting lost in Mazes and eating ice cream! We have 1000’s and 1000’s and 1000’s of pumpkins in our fields all waiting to be picked, carved and eaten!

Put your wellies on, grab a wheelbarrow and go for a leisurely walk, or a crazy screaming run, depending on your mood, and discover which Pumpkins choose to go home with you this year!

We are also happy to introduce you to Pumpkinology. Pumpkinology has, until now, only been taught at schools for witches & wizards, but we think it is the most exciting subject in the world so have shared our favourite recipes, ideas and activities so that you can begin your education in this most fascinating of topics!

If you want to come twilight picking and enjoy the maze you will need to book.

Loads to do besides PYO pumpkins…

Everybody knows that for Halloween a good pumpkinologist needs at least a wand or a broom to decorate and use. Fun crafts coming to a pumpkin field near you!

Crowe Farm hot dogs, burgers, bacon rolls, amazing sausage rolls and some cheeky cheesy chips will help fuel the days activities!

The lovely Grounded Coffee will be back at our Fordingbridge patch this October, with a delicious range of seasonal drinks to include pumpkin spice and gingerbread lattes.

Whether you’re hunkering down dressed as your favourite ghost or ghoul, our pumpkins make for practically perfect photo opportunities!
