Christmas At Rosemont

Christmas At Rosemont

Christmas At Rosemont    We’re well into the holiday season and far beyond just beginning to look a lot like Christmas. One particular location in Chicagoland has fully activated festivus mode – preparing to fill your stockings with goodies (from 130+ designer outlet stores) and ignite the magic of the holidays. Santa’s Village has officially left the North Pole and set up shop throughout the Village of Rosemont.

Fashion Outlets of Chicago, a shopper’s paradise 365-days a year, has transformed into a shopper’s winter wonderland for the holiday season. With over 130 designer outlets – including Gucci, Coach, Lululemon, Tory Burch, Vineyard Vines and Disney Outlet Store – you can cross everyone from your brother and your boss to your dog and dog…walker(?) off your shopping list.

For those looking for a break from the holiday gifting, Fashion Outlets is also home to HGTV’s Santa HQ, where you can marvel at the magic of Santa’s workshop through innovative and interactive digital activities. Visit with Santa in an augmented reality environment, transform yourself into one of Santa’s elves, or find out where you land on the Naughty-or-Nice meter (note: we take no personal responsibility if coal ends up in your stocking). On Monday, December 16, furry friends can get in on the festivities as well, with Santa Paws photos taking place from 6-8PM.

Shopping and alcohol don’t always mix well. However, a new addition to Fashion Outlets of Chicago’s food court has opened to help make your shopping easy, breezy, and boozy. Tapville Social offers guests the opportunity to purchase local and regional beers and ciders as well as wine selections from some of the top wine regions in the country. The bar’s self-pour concept allows guests 21 and older to link their credit card to a “Pour Pass.” From there, they can pay by the ounce and curate their experience, from sampling several beers to filling up with their favorite. And trust us, the fun doesn’t stop there. You can also take your beverages beyond and shop with your wine or beer in hand throughout common areas and in select stores.

Across the street, you’ll find Rosemont’s Parkway Bank Park entertainment district with everything from AMC Theatre and iFLY Indoor Skydiving to Hofbräuhaus and Zanies Comedy Night Club. In addition to these year-round staples, the Chicago Wolves Ice Rink is back this holiday season, taking over the center of the park every day until January 5 and every Sunday through February 23. On Tuesday, December 31st, you can skate your way into 2020, with special park hours from 11am to 1am. At midnight, the park will ring in the new year with a spectacular fireworks display. Admission to the rink is free throughout the season, with skate rentals available on-site for $8.
